Sue Manning, Director
Sue is a leading HR and reward consultant and has extensive and wide-ranging experience gained working across a number of employment sectors, with particular experience working with not for profit, housing and SME clients. She has held specialist senior roles in manpower planning, recruitment, pay and reward and employee relations. She provides people centred consultancy services at a strategic level working with executives and boards, through to practical operational support required by operational managers and HR colleagues. Sue is a lead consultant advising Boards on executive pay and is joint author of the recent NHF publication Board member pay, What housing associations need to know, 2014.
Virginia Chamberlain, Director
Virginia has a wealth of HR consultancy experience having worked with Tribal and Capita before setting up Forest HR with Sue early in 2015. She has carried out a wide range of consultancy assignments, working with executive and senior teams and boards and has particular expertise in research, challenging disciplinary and grievance matters, supporting restructures and in pay and reward assignments. She has a reputation for providing excellent HR services and support and producing innovative and practical solutions to business problems. Virginia has experience across sectors, including health and education and she lectures on people management related topics on MSc programmes. She is a board member of Housing Diversity Network.
Richard Cowling, Principal Consultant
Richard has wide range of senior management HR experience across a variety of employment sectors and is our reward expert, having held specialist senior roles in reward, payroll, pensions & benefits, but also has extensive skills in employee relations and HR systems. He is committed to implementing practical and commercially viable solutions and he leads on our equal pay review service.
Julie Deadman, Principal Consultant
Julie is a senior HR professional who provides first class interim and consultancy support across a range of employment sectors. She is experienced working at all levels and particularly leads on change management of complex organisational restructures, managing of complex disciplinary and grievance cases and supporting executives to deliver their business plans. Julie is developing a strong track record in providing interim management support or developing customer relationships.
Denise Claxton, Senior Consultant
Denise has a broad range of experience as an HR generalist, providing strong, value-adding services. She brings a wealth of experience at a senior level from the housing sector, together with wide ranging experience from the private and public sectors and has particular strengths in the introduction of IT and Payroll systems, learning and development and leading organisations to successfully achieve external accreditations.
Heather Taylor, Executive Assistant
Heather has many years experience of managing and delivering an outstanding executive recruitment support function and understands the requirements working with our executive clients and recruitment candidates. Heather is qualified to administer ability and psychometric testing and coordinates our recruitment assessment services.
